Founded in London in 1987, The British Institute of Homeopathy Ltd is dedicated to the development of classical and modern homeopathy by distance learning and classroom study through internationally recognised teachers. The institute is committed to the precepts of Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, and its consolidation as a major learning centre of international repute.  

 

 

 

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. SYLLABUS

The British Institute of Homeopathy Limited reserves the right to amend or update the syllabuses of all courses at any time.

2. CERTIFICATION

British Institute awards on the successful completion of a course are for certification and do not necessarily constitute a licence to practice

3. COPYRIGHT

All rights reserved. The BIH exercises its intellectual copyright over all BIH materials.

All written lessons, audiotapes, videotapes and CD ROM's etc. are copyrighted and may not be publicly displayed or copied in whole or part, reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means electronic, mechanical, photocopied, recorded or otherwise except with the prior written authorisation of the British Institute. All course materials are provided on the above basis and may be retained by the student for his or her personal use only.

4. REFUND POLICY

If a student wishes to withdraw from any course for any reason, subsequent to registration, a refund may be granted subject to the following conditions.

i.      Registration fees (first installment) are non-refundable for any reason.

ii.     No refunds will be considered if 50% or more of the course has already been completed.

iii.    No refunds will be considered if more than three months have elapsed since a student has contacted his or her personal tutor or the Institute offices in writing, even if less than 50% of the course has been completed.

iv.    All and any refunds will be related to fees applying at the time of registration.

5. INTEGRITY

All students, graduates and Fellows of the British Institute pledge to uphold the goodwill, integrity, reputation and teaching of the British Institute worldwide.

6. TUTORS

Although every effort is made to appoint a permanent personal tutor for an entire course of study, the British Institute reserves the right to change tutors at any time as circumstances arise. Students would be advised in advance of this event. Students may retain their personal tutor when moving to another country.

7. PAYMENTS BY CREDIT CARDS

All credit card transactions are made in pounds sterling at the exchange rate published in the London Evening Standard on that day.

8. HIPPOCRATIC OATH

All graduates of the British Institute who legally practice a complementary therapy are expected to pledge themselves to the Hippocratic Oath. Copies on request.

9. REDUCED FEES FOR MULTIPLE COURSES

Enrolment for two or more courses with payment of the full combined fees entitles an additional reduction of 5% on each course (see financial assistance).

10. LAW

All Terms and Conditions are subject to the Laws of England.
