Founded in London in 1987, The British Institute of Homeopathy Ltd is dedicated to the development of classical and modern homeopathy by distance learning and classroom study through internationally recognised teachers. The institute is committed to the precepts of Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, and its consolidation as a major learning centre of international repute.

Commander Robb read for an honours degree in chemistry at Strathclyde University followed by a Diploma in Education at Glasgow University. He joined the Royal Navy and gained a Master of Science degree in nuclear biology at Surrey University followed by sea service around the world. Training Commander at the Royal Navy College, Greenwich working with Professor John Lakey on the training of graduate engineers in biological sciences. Academic Training Commander at HMS Sultan with over 12,000 students on various courses annually. Director of Training at the Institute of Naval Medicine. Member of Admiralty Selection Board advising on academic matters. On retirement from the Royal Navy he studied with the British Institute gaining the Diploma followed by advanced case taking studies and clinical experience for the DIHom(Pract) followed by the Postgraduate Diploma with honours. He has practised homeopathy in Hampshire and Scotland and lectures throughout the United Kingdom on the benefits to health that homeopathy can provide.
