This
course provides general training in modern nutritional therapy, recognising it
as complementary to, and in many respects, an intrinsic part of, all
complementary therapies. It also provides general training in herbal medicines,
which, like nutritional supplements, are now widely available along with
homeopathic medicines in most pharmacies and health food stores.
This basic course was
designed by leading experts in these fields, including, Dr. Janet Zand (USA),
Dr. Helen Fullerton (UK) and the late Dr. Jean Bonnard (UK). It consists of ten
written lessons with four test papers and an audiotape. Each student is provided
with an expert personal tutor on a one-to-one basis and there is an examination,
taken in the student's own home.
