I ANATOMY
AND PHYSIOLOGY Course
No. 401 The
British Institute offers a certificated, comprehensive distance learning
programme in Human Sciences. CREATED AND TUTORED BY EXPERIENCED PHYSICIANS AND
CONSULTANTS, it is designed to meet or exceed the standards required for the
study of all complementary therapies. Eligibility There are no
specific entry requirements for this programme of orthodox medicine which is
designed to support or enhance homeopathic studies or courses in other
complementary therapies, such as naturopathy, chiropractic, acupuncture,
herbology or nutrition. Duration
of Course The duration
of studies is an average of six months. Your one-to-one tutor, who is a

Programme The Human
Sciences programme is offered in two Modules, each consisting of written lessons
with the assistance of a qualified physician as your personal one-to-one tutor.
Syllabus
- Module I Cardiovascular
System / Respiratory System / Gastro-intestinal System / Urinary System /
Endocrine System /Nervous System / The Skin / Musculo-skeletal System /
Lymphatic / Blood / Genital and Reproductive System / Special Senses (Ears, Nose
and Eyes). Award A Certificate in Anatomy and Physiology is awarded on the successful completion of the course. The certificate is recognised as proof of sufficient training in these subjects, or as an essential foundation for courses in all complementary therapies. Course
